While in Poland, he met with Karol Cardinal Wojtyla, later Pope John Paul II.

In 1971, Terry heard the Lord say to him, “I am going to send you to minister among the closed countries of the world. You will do things there that most men will believe impossible. If you trust Me and are obedient, I will protect you.” For over forty years, he has traveled to countries that are “hostile” to the Gospel, ministering to the lost and hurting in places such as the former Soviet Union, Cuba and North Korea. More recently his ministry, World Compassion, has focused on the Middle East, and Asian nations.

Terry preaches frequently in North America, Canada, and the United Kingdom and ministers in closed countries several times each year. His messages are rich in biblical truth, bringing salvation, healing and hope through deep scriptural teaching.

He has written several books including The Fight of Every Believer, The Truth about Angels, How to Enter the Presence of God, The Power of Praise and Worship, and his newest release in May of 2010 The Hope Habit. His booklet The Story of Jesus has been translated into more than 52 languages, with an estimated 27 million copies distributed worldwide.

Kenneth Copeland
In May 1967, Kenneth Copeland was walking along the bed of the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the Lord dropped the vision of the ministry into his heart: to preach the gospel to the nations—a call that would include using every available voice to preach the uncompromised message of faith to meet the needs of people worldwide. It all started though with simple steps of obedience and faith, walking in love and the integrity of God's Word. It all started though with simple steps of obedience and faith, walking in love and the integrity of God's Word.

In 1957 at 20 years of age, with a hit record, Pledge of Love, at #14 on the national charts and #1 on the local charts Kenneth looked to be on his way to a successful singing career appearing on American Bandstand and featured next to Ricky Nelson in Dig Magazine. But God had other plans. He met Gloria and asked her to marry him on their first date. She said yes. At that time, they lived in a rented apartment with a rollaway bed, coffee pot they cooked in and kept their food on the porch to keep it cold. Things were not abundant but as Gloria sat reading a Bible given to Kenneth from his mother one day she prayed, "God, take my life and do something with it." Shortly thereafter Kenneth became a Christian and five years later at the age of 30 he obeyed God, packed up his family, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to enroll at Oral Roberts University in spring of 1967.

Kenneth applied to be Oral Roberts' co-pilot and he was made part of the flight crew attending all the tent meetings and crusades. It was during this time that he was learning exponentially through on-the-job training. Just a few months after Kenneth worked for Oral, God called him to start his own ministry and on September 7, 1967, Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed.

"Kenneth Copeland Ministries was birthed out of love for the people and a commitment to bring people the Word," states Kenneth Copeland. "Our lives are totally wrapped up in ministering to the people. When we say, "We're here for you." we mean it to this point—everything we do, everything we preach, every broadcast we come on, everywhere we minister, everything we say and do is prayed, engineered, designed to minister to the people.... God called us to take His message of love and faith to the whole world. We care about you and we want to help you find the answers you need in God's Word.

Kellie Copeland Swisher, Kenneth and Gloria's daughter, believes that is what sets Kenneth and Gloria apart. "People all the time use the phrases 'Word church,' 'Word people,' 'Word movement.'" states Kellie. "Forty years ago, faith was ambiguous. It wasn't a movement. To us, it was just a way of life. Mom and Dad said, 'If we see it in the Word, we're going to form our life around that. We're going to change our life to fit the Word.' It's the way we live our life. Every decision they make is formed around the Word."

"Integrity and integrity in God's Word," continues John Copeland, son and CEO of KCM. "That's what this ministry has stood on for 40 years and will stand on for the next 40 years. People have said word of faith teaches that you don't ever have problems and that's just not true. Our families have been faced with adversities. Sometimes you just go through something. It's not that you don't face obstacles and don't face adversities, it's what you do when you are faced with those adversities. How do you handle yourself, what do you do? You have a choice. And we were raised not to just take it but to fight it, stand against it, believe God and the integrity of His Word and you will come out on the other side."

Kenneth and Gloria have learned the principle of connecting to God in faith. By the Lord's blessing, they have taught their children, grandchildren and Partners the world over the power of connecting with God and His Word every day in every way in their life, making for a great heritage and legacy. show less

Having traveled extensively across the US and abroad for over 30 years, Keith and his wife Phyllis minister strongly on such areas as love, faith, healing, prosperity, and honor.

Their heart is to see the lost saved, the sick healed, the distressed relieved, the broken restored, and the discouraged empowered to victory. Brother Moore says, True Christianity is not the formal, powerless thing that so many have come to know. Real fellowship with the living Christ, the Anointed One, results in the destruction of every bondage, the removal of every burden, and the fulfillment of every good desire. There is no life so exciting as the victorious life that is true Christianity.

You will find the teaching ministry of Brother Keith rich with revelation yet easy to understand and to put into practice. Many have testified to healing, deliverance, and life-changing experiences through this anointed ministry. To God be all the glory! show less

--2 Kings 3:15 KJV
Since he came on the national scene in 1990, there have been many titles associated with Ben Tankard, from the Quincy Jones of Gospel to the father of GospelJazz.

Ben explains, "Technically, the music is the same. A Christian "C" note sounds the same as a non-Christian note, but as a minister, God releases His Spirit and power through me and the music becomes a vehicle-of-salvation to carry God's love, healing and deliverance."

As a modern day "David" and often referred to as "The Minstrel," Ben Tankard has a strong anointing to play under the unction of the Holy Spirit and has witnessed tumors melting, people being raised out of wheel chairs, deaf ears opened, and relationships mended in his concert-crusades.

Tankard states, "signs and wonders must follow when a minstrel plays. We should expect debt cancellations and all other yokes to be destroyed and burdens lifted when our music is played."

He has won 9 Stellar Awards, 34 Stellar, 8 Dove, 3 Grammy nominations and is the best selling GospelJazz instrumentalist in the world.

Also a "hit-maker" producer, Ben discovered Yolanda Adams and has produced several top records for her, as well as collaborated with Take-6, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, and others.

Tankard's 1997 hit song "Git Yo Praize On," with his ensemble, Tribe Of Benjamin, has become the most used phrase among praise teams.

All this from a man who has never had one lesson!

THE FAVOR OF GOD

In 1998 one of his mentors, Dr. Creflo Dollar, laid hands on Ben and commanded him to "dare to be different" and avoid the "hireling spirit" in his ministry. Therefore he has a unique approach to concerts and tour life.

"When I minister, I don't have a set contract fee. I give sponsors the raw travel costs to get to their city and then depend on faith for the increase. We generally are given a love seed. What they sow into Destiny Center Missions for sending us to them is between them and God, we put pressure on the Word-not people," proclaims Tankard.

While this approach seems unconventional, Tankard finds it to be successful system. "When you obey God you gain favor which is far better than money."

For a traveling minister this favor can show up in many ways such as free use of airplanes, tour buses, studio equipment being literally sown and lent for His service, concerts being sponsored and underwritten by major corporations, T.V. and radio production services being provided, etc. -- the sky is the limit. God can make a way!

The key is to concentrate on taking care of God's business and He will in return put people and materials in your hand to accomplish his plans, purpose and destiny for your life."

Tankard's life has not always been a bed of roses and he has had his fair share of "turbulence" in life's flight. show less

The once-fearful and timid school girl who was in classes for "slow learners" from the 5th grade on, gave her life to the Lord in High School, discovered a timeless truth that would set her on a path to achieving the improbable.

At the age of sixteen, after witnessing her mother’s amazing conversion and healing, Kate accepted the Lord and immediately everything began to change. From the very beginning of her new walk with God, she sensed the call of God to preach the Gospel and reach people world wide with a life changing message, an impossible task for someone who nearly fainted over giving an oral book report.

However, Kate’s tenacity to face her personal giants paid off as she tapped into the revelation of God’s favor, which would revolutionize her life forever. Today she shares that same life-transforming message with thousands of people across the world, living the dream God gave her as a teenager.
Kate is now a noted evangelist and seminar speaker, making guest appearances in churches and corporate settings numerous times a year. She has been featured on global T.V. networks such as the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Total Christian Television, Daystar, LeSea, INSP and many others, sharing her personal testimony and life-changing message of faith in God.

In addition to a hefty traveling schedule, she effectively reaches the world on a daily basis through her “Voice of Faith” radio broadcast, airing on dozens of radio stations, internet and satellite broadcasts.

Kate is also an acclaimed author with 9 Books in circulation. The release of her first book, The Blessing of Favor, in 1997 was just the beginning of a flood of titles in which Kate's practical teachings and unique insights have impacted thousands.

Kate knows by experience how God’s favor can impact even the most impossible circumstances. By implementing the principles she found in the Word of God, He effectively changed the course of her life. Now the 5"4” Evangelist is making a super-sized impact in the world on a daily basis.

Kate's teaching is motivational as she loves to inspire others to succeed. Kate's positive and often humorous style of speaking, imparts hope and encouragement to all, with thousands making a commitment to Christ in her meetings every year.

Kate McVeigh is living proof that the Word of God has the power to alter your present circumstances and rewrite your future. She is living proof that with God all things are possible. show less

With a master’s degree in mental health and human services, Taffi also has a heart for restoring family relationships. Above all her accomplishments, however, she considers supporting her husband in ministry and raising Godly children her primary purpose. As a mother of five, she firmly believes that the best way to raise successful children is to be an active role model, demonstrating the love of God.

The natural inclination to reach out, to celebrate people and culture, were traceable in Marilyn’s formative years; yet she had no idea how God would send her around the globe teaching the Bible and building bridges with people of all cultures and religious backgrounds, especially in the Muslim world.

In the past four decades, the Lord has continually opened doors of opportunity for Marilyn in nearly 130 countries. This includes private meetings and prayer with high- ranking Muslim and Hindu government officials. Her lectures on healing and the Bible have broken records for the largest public meeting ever held in that nation’s history, including Cairo, Egypt and Pakistan.

Sarah Bowling was just five years old, on a trip to the Holy Land, when she had her first interaction with an Arab person. Since then, Sarah has ministered around the globe.

It was on a ministry trip to Northern Ethiopia when, Sarah, holding newborn twins who were abandoned in a field, felt compelled to start Saving Moses. This humanitarian initiative that assists children ages 5 and under with basic food, water, shelter and medical needs.

Together, Marilyn and Sarah’s mission to bring people into relationship with Jesus Christ often lead them to difficult places, including Muslim nations and lands oppressed by communism, cruel dictators, poverty, disaster, and disease.

Year after year, they cross unfriendly borders with Bibles, teaching materials, and books translated into native languages, often at great personal risk, carrying the gospel into scores of nations including Pakistan, Italy, Morocco, Ethiopia, Sudan, Russia, Panama, Australia, China, Germany, India, The United Kingdom, Vietnam, and dozens more.

From humble beginnings to the international organization known today as Marilyn Hickey Ministries, Marilyn and Sarah share a calling for:

Bringing God’s miracles and healing to those in need, nationally & internationally
A love for teaching the Bible
Building bridges and taking the gospel to the nations
It’s simple. When we live the truth of the Bible, we can experience the blessed, miraculous life that God’s Word promises, including bringing people of different faiths together, leading people to Christ, and helping those in need. show less

With 30 years in ministry, Creflo Dollar is committed to bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, literally changing the world one person at a time.

A native of College Park, Georgia, Creflo Dollar received the vision for World Changers Ministries Christian Center in 1986. He held the church’s first worship service in the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School in College Park, with only eight people in attendance. Over the years, the ministry grew rapidly, and was later renamed World Changers Church International. The congregation moved from the cafeteria to a modest-sized chapel, later adding a weekly radio broadcast and four services each Sunday. On December 24, 1995, WCCI moved into its present location—the 8,500-seat sanctuary known as the World Dome. At a cost of nearly $18 million, the World Dome was built without any bank financing. The construction of the World Dome is a testament to the miracle-working power of God, and remains a model of debt-freedom that ministries all over the world emulate.

A former educational therapist, Creflo Dollar received a bachelor’s degree in education and both a master’s and doctorate degree in counseling. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University in 1998. He is the publisher of CHANGE online magazine and The Max, a bimonthly resource newsletter for ministers and ministry leaders. His award-winning Changing Your World television broadcast reaches nearly one billion homes in practically every country in the world.
A much sought-after conference speaker and best-selling author, Dollar is known for his practical approach to the Bible, and has encouraged thousands to pursue a personal relationship with God. Creflo Dollar and his wife, Taffi, have five children, and they live in Atlanta.

DRIA has produced and made beats for other groups and artists. Not only has she achieved these feats, but she also sang in the teen/kids group called Kidz Faith 2 (KF2), in 2003, while holding the position of executive producer and songwriter for the group.
During her teen years, DRIA developed her voice to hit notes in alto, soprano, and tenor ranges, which many famous singers have not accomplished. By the age of 15, she had begun performing on a large scale. She has performed before a sold-out crowd of 20,000 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
DRIA is a talented dancer with four years of ballet and three years of hip-hop experience. To add to her list of achievements, DRIA was an actress in the High School Musical Atlanta. In addition, if you think, her success is impressive, check out her attitude.
DRIA is inspired by her family and artists such as Missy Elliot, Rihanna, and Aaliyah. Her inspiration from these people encourages her to keep persevering and moving forward, toward her dreams. She recently signed a deal with Arrow Soul Records, which is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
In her spare time, she enjoys creating music in the studio, playing basketball, and hanging out with close friends. Those who know her describe her as outgoing, confident, and full of swag, which are key essentials to being a great role model and a dynamic superstar. Her goal is to reach millions by creating positive, clean, and relatable music that can take over the game. Bigger and better things are soon to come. With over 17,500 plays on Myspace and 17,400 views on YouTube, and her Twitter page rapidly growing every day, it seems like there is nothing this teen motivator cannot do. And, furthermore, she has not even begun to show her full potential—until now.

She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her parents and siblings.

Plucked out of his Chicagoland high school by R. Kelly’s management team based on his ultra slick dance steps, the eventual MC/singer/songwriter/producer joined R&B powerhouse Aaliyah and hip-hop pioneers Arrested Development on tour as a chorographer and dancer. From there, his name spread throughout the industry like lightening, inspiring a call from fellow Grammy-nominated revolutionaries Grits, which didn’t just open a slew of additional career doors but also led to an entirely new perspective on life in general.

“At first, I was using a lot of my gifts and talents for the wrong reasons, but I came to a whole new outlook on life after I met Verbs, who was supporting Grits at the time,” recalls Shonlock. “One day after going over some chorography, he presented the Gospel to me, which was really refreshing because it was coming from somebody who understood my background and had similar interests in music. I had been going to church when I was younger but had never really grasped it, so to have it presented in a form that I could relate to and at an age when I could understand it was life changing.”

Alongside that spiritual renewal came a chance to work with like-minded stars such as Nicole C. Mullen and The Katinas, eventually catching the eyes and ears of multi-platinum DC Talk singer turned solo star TobyMac. Besides offering his chorography to Mac’s Diverse City Band, Shonlock also became a guest vocalist/performer, who still holds that position today.

“He’s definitely a forerunner because he’s always dared to try different things and push the envelope,” observes Shonlock of the noted influence on his solo career. “I started off emceeing, beatboxing and breakin’, but I can also sing and am really into rock music and electric guitars. Seeing all that Toby’s done, it makes me think, ‘why can’t I make a song with beatboxing over an acoustic guitar?’”

During his time on tour with the aforementioned legend, Shonlock demonstrated those skills on endless occasions, most tangibly, on a self-released CD that moved over 15,000 copies across the country, straight out of his suitcase. Add in songwriting credits on multiple Mac projects, plus cuts by Mandisa, Verbs and Kierra “Kiki” Sheard (to name a few), and the foundation was certainly set for this pop/rock/hip-hop hybrid to catch the attention of Arrow/Universal. The resulting partnership first spawned the Where Never Begins EP in late 2010, followed by the full-length NEVERODDOREVEN.

Throughout the thirteen track collection, influences as varied as Mac and the Diverse City Band to Outkast, Mat Kearney, The Script, and B.o.B. permeate Shonlock’s boundary-breaking sound, all uniting with a crystal clear cohesion. And just as creative as the musical content is the lyrical dichotomy, which starts with the ultra-eye catching title.

“There’s a play on the title visually, where it spells the same phrase forward or backwards,” verifies Shonlock. “The message is all about my relationship with God, and walking with Him. I never find it odd when amazing things happen. But on the flipside, with the ultimate sacrifice of His son, I could never get even, which makes me forever indebted to Him.”

That thought-provoking but continuously relatable premise pops up on the lead single “Something In Your Eyes,” which has already topped the charts and led Shonlock to artist-centered recognition that supplements his already decorated supporting credits. The track is an instantaneous anthem of hope that reminds fans from all walks of life that God is always around, even through life’s mundane moments and the roadblocks that inevitably pop up in everyone’s path.

“Cheers” takes an even more personal twist on Shonlock’s rock-infused soul, chronicling an upbringing in the shadow of a parent who struggled with alcohol abuse, followed by his own dabblings that were eventually curbed and resulted in a full household restoration. “Scarred” traces a relationship between a guy and a girl that went south after the consequences from poor decisions were exposed. “Hello” is a redemptive call to action to turn a fractured life around, while “Monsta” serves as a metaphor for believers, encouraging them to unite and combat worldly pressures.

Coincidentally, that latter track also shares the namesake of the multi-talent’s backing band, which has already joined him as an opening act on TobyMac and Skillet’s record-breaking 2010 Awake Tonight tour, followed by 2011’s outing alongside Group 1 Crew. “I moved from Chicago to Atlanta, where my wife is from, and joined the church where her father is the pastor, which is also where I met the guys in the band,” explains Shonlock. “The goal was to have everyone making the most of their gifts, talents, and creativity to put together some really crazy live performance-type stuff, from the songs themselves to chorography to having two drummers playing the same kit together at the same time. I’m excited about people seeing the stuff we’re cooking up because it’s not something you’ve seen before.”

Clearly, the pursuit of excellence, coupled with a desire to bridge all audiences while breaking down radio formats and spiritual stereotypes, is the fuel behind Shonlock’s trailblazing fire. And with his ambitious amalgamation of genres over street-savvy reflections, he’s sure to captivate current fans while commanding the attention of newcomers.

“My goal is to be a blend for the pop, hip-hop and rock-loving crowd without ever wanting to get boxed into a certain category,” assures Shonlock. “I’m not eyeing a particular marketplace, group or clique. I’m just going to do whatever I can to make sure the people that need to hear this message get a chance. If the message is truth and the music is good quality music, people will be drawn to it no matter what genre.” show less

Soon our faith would be greatly tested as a violent series of tornadoes ripped across Florida on Sunday night, February 22, 1998, completely demolishing the sanctuary and offices. This series of events was highlighted in the magazine, “The Believers Voice of Victory.” Without a building the Church met in a tent and then received favor from a local church, Covenant United Methodist, in Port Orange, who aided them with space for several months. Word of Faith Orlando became an extensive of our growing church family. A small group of believers, formally known as Life Orlando in the Heart of Orlando, merged with Word of Faith Daytona to reach out with greater impact in the Central Florida Region and the I-4 Corridor. Sunday services are now being held at our Orlando Campus with mid-week services occurring in both locations. Word of Faith Family Church is thrilled to be on the cutting edge of helping families live victoriously by faith.

We encourage you to join our family as lives are being changed and friends are made. show less

An energetic and praise-filled woman of God, Munizzi has captured the hearts of gospel music lovers with songs like “Say The Name”, “Glorious”, “Because Of Who You Are” and “Jesus Is The Best Thing (That’s Ever Happened To Me)”. A protégé of praise and worship icon Israel Houghton, Martha Munizzi has become a household name in the Christian music industry. Singlehandedly, the GRAMMY and Soul Train Award Nominee and Dove and Stellar Award Winner has literally changed the face of the inspirational genre. With her dynamic and unapologetic style of praise and worship, she touches the very heart of the believer. Not only has she changed lives through her ministry, but she has savored the success of it as well becoming the best-selling independent artist in the history of gospel music, selling over 500,000 units. Not one to rest on her laurels, fans of her music can expect even more with her upcoming 6th release dropping in 2011, Make It Loud.
Gospel music is in Martha Munizzi’s blood. Beginning at the age of 8, her parents, who were traveling evangelists, took her and her sisters on the road. As she and her sisters got older, the family settled in Orlando, Florida and eventually as teens, Martha and her two sisters got a taste of singing on their own traveling across the state of Florida, performing at churches, conferences and Christian events. It was during this time when she met her husband, Dan Munizzi, who also played bass and keyboards for their music group.
Dan Munizzi was also raised with music “in his blood.” The son of two gifted musicians and singers in their own right, Dan grew up in the church, where he began playing the acoustic guitar at the age of 9, and quickly moved to the bass guitar and piano. Dan has always had an active role musically in every church that he has served in, and through the years has had the opportunity to share the stage with many of Gospel Music’s most well known Artists.
Dan and Martha met in 1984, and were married 3 years later and began their music ministry together. In 2002 she and Dan recorded Martha’s first CD entitled, Say The Name, with Dan as Executive Producer. The project introduced the cross-cultural praise and worship leader to a plethora of new fans and earned her the first of many Dove Award Nominations for Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year as well as her first GRAMMY Award Nomination for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album.
Shortly after Martha’s newfound success, Dan felt it was time to retire from his career as a Home Builder in Central Florida, and pursue music ministry full time. Being new to the music industry, Dan became a fast learner of the business and decided to take on the role of manager to his wife. It was a great fit for him and it wasn’t long before they began to see things happen very quickly.
Martha’s second release, The Best Is Yet To Come, truly put her on the “gospel musical map” and debuted on the Billboard Gospel Chart at #2 and the Billboard Christian Albums Chart at #6 in 2003. The CD, recorded live at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, TX, netted a slew of amazing tunes including “Glorious”, “I Know The Plans”, “Sing” and “God Is Here. The hugely popular hit “Because Of Who You Are”, gave Munizzi two more Dove Award Nominations for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year and Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year in 2003 and 2004, respectively, and an Oasis Award for International Female Artist of the Year. The success of The Best Is Yet To Come bestowed upon Martha a Stellar Award for Best New Artist of the Year and a Stellar Award Nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year. The accolades were evidence of the popularity and diversity of her music ministry and the acceptance of her unique style of praise in the gospel community. Martha Munizzi also became the first non-African American artist to walk away with a Stellar Award.
She followed up the release with her Christmas CD, When He Came in 2004, a musical collection of festive holiday tunes. The project caught the attention of the Stellar Awards again and the CD won for Special Event CD of the Year. Her next release, No Limits Live, was the first project released in conjunction with worship giant Integrity Music with general market distribution through Sony-BMG, enlarging her territory even further.
Debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart in March 2006, nomination after nomination followed including three CCM Magazine Reader Choice Award Nominations (Female Artist of the Year, Praise & Worship CD of the Year and Worship Artist of the Year), two Stellar Award Nominations (Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year) and two Dove Award Nominations (Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year and Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year). In addition, she received a Christian Music Award for Female Artist of the Year for No Limits Live.
Change The World Live, a clarion call for Christians to take their rightful positions in the Kingdom, dropped in 2008 and included songs like “Invincible God”, “Dance” and the CD’s title tune. Martha’s twin sister Mary Alessi, Israel Houghton, and Micah Stampley were featured on the CD. Hitting #4 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart and #3 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart, the project gave the artist her 8th & 9th Dove Award Nominations, this time for Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year, which she won, and for Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year for “Favor of God”.
Having performed with the best and brightest in Christendom, Munizzi has ministered with Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, CeCe Winans and Bishop T.D. Jakes. She’s been seen on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and the Daystar Television Network. She was also tapped to perform on BET’s Celebration of Gospel and appeared in the movie, The Gospel. An artist picked to perform on the coveted “Sisters In The Spirit” Tour, Munizzi joined Yolanda Adams, Kelly Price, Juanita Bynum, RiZen and Sheila E. on the sold-out tour.
In 2009, God impressed upon Martha and Dan’s heart to begin the “EPIC Worship” movement, “EPIC” standing for Experience A Passionate Intimate Connection with God. Bringing together worship leaders from Florida including her twin Mary and William McDowell, the goal was to lift up the name of Jesus in an impromptu time of intimacy. They met periodically at different churches to sing and in no time, the movement grew exponentially. Artists and ministers such as Mark Chironna, Michael Gungor and Nicole Binion joined in. Martha says, “EPIC is a community of people looking for connection with each other and with God. But the bottom line is that we want God’s presence; it’s all about worship.”
With her husband Dan at the helm, Martha is prepping for her upcoming release, Make It Loud, an extension of EPIC Worship. Recorded live in Kissimmee, Florida, the project is certain to eclipse any other record that the praise and worship artist has done. With songwriting by Munizzi, Gungor, Jonathan Stockstill and even Munizzi’s daughter, Danielle, the artist sees God’s hand all throughout the record. “God brought together the right people and the right time for this project,” says Dan Munizzi. Not only is the project a snapshot of an incredible night of worship, but Martha and Dan see this project as a platform to expose many other up-and-coming worship leaders as well as new songs for the body of Christ. She’s currently preparing a mentoring program for worship leaders and wants to pass on the “torch of worship” to those coming behind her. Continuing to break down the generational and cultural walls that separate the body of Christ, Martha and Dan are two people on a mission to proclaim the awesomeness of God through the vehicle of worship. show less
